Virtual Initial Lactation Consultation

You aren’t alone, breastfeeding issues are common! A comprehensive lactation evaluation will provide the support, encouragement, and direction needed to develop a healthy breastfeeding experience for both you and your baby. The virtual initial lactation consultation includes the review of maternal and newborn health and birth histories, observation and appropriate assistance with a full feeding, and the discussion of all questions and challenges including but not limited to: expected newborn feeding patterns, latching difficulties, nipple pain, engorgement, milk supply issues, infant oral anatomy, and pumping. Based on my assessments and your individual goals, we will create a customized breastfeeding plan that will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the visit. A visit summary will be sent directly to your pediatrician
