I am a Philadelphia-based Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, and a breastfeeding mom of two.
With 13 years of experience in pediatric healthcare, I am thrilled to now offer individualized newborn and lactation support services for new and expecting families in the privacy of your own home! After recently relocating from Center City to Wynnewood, PA, I am excited to now offer in-home support to Main Line area families in addition to Philadelphia families!
I began my career in oncology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, while earning my Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Pediatric Primary Care. Through my work as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the primary care setting, I realized my passion for breastfeeding and newborn development and earned my IBCLC certification.
I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the United States Lactation Consultant Association. I am certified in Basic Life Support, Infant, Child, and Adult CPR, and up-to-date with all vaccinations including COVID-19, Tdap, and the annual flu vaccines.
In my pediatrics practice, my greatest passion has always been working with infants and new families. While this time is filled with incredible love and awe, it can equally be met with an overwhelming sense of responsibility and uncertainty. Parents often feel they are receiving conflicting advice and unsure what is best for their baby. It is my wholehearted belief that every baby and every family is unique . I will work closely with your family to create an individualized breastfeeding plan that is best for you and your baby. My appointments last as long as needed and I provide unlimited and ongoing phone and text support after all visits. In addition to lactation support, I offer private prenatal newborn care and breastfeeding classes. With the education and background of a Pediatric Healthcare Provider, and the compassion of a new mom myself, I take pride in empowering new families with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to confidently care for your baby.
