Follow-up Lactation Consultation

Sometimes additional visits are needed to address new concerns, re-evaluate previous issues, or monitor your baby’s growth. Let’s revisit your breastfeeding plan to make adjustments based on your and your baby’s changing needs. The follow-up appointment will include a weight check of the baby, assessment and adjustment of the current breastfeeding plan, observation and appropriate assistance with a full feeding, assessment of milk transfer through pre and post weights, and addressing all issues that may have come up after the initial visit.

An updated customized breastfeeding plan will be created and emailed to you within 24 hours of the visit, and a visit summary will be sent directly to your pediatrician. This visit will take place in your home.
