In order to provide the highest level of support, I have elected to be an out-of-network provider.  This means that I do not accept insurance.  After the visit, I provide families with a Superbill, which can be submitted to request potential reimbursement, however I cannot guarantee reimbursement as this is dependent upon your insurance plan.  The *only* cost for the visit is the one-time payment at time of scheduling. You will never be charged an additional “convenience fee”.

Absolutely! I am thrilled to be able to provide lactation support for families anywhere in the world (**LINK to virtual visits under appointments**)

IBCLC stands for International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant and is the highest level of lactation certification.  The journey to becoming an IBCLC requires medical prerequisites, 90 hours of lactation education, 1000 hours of providing direct lactation support, and passing the International Board exam.  The certification is maintained by completing substantial, ongoing continuing education.

In order to get the most out of our time together, I will send an intake questionnaire for you to complete and also ask you to keep a one-day record of feedings and diaper output.  I ask for families to try to ensure that baby will be ready to feed within one hour of our appointment start time, but fully understand that babies are unpredictable and will work around your little one!

The Initial Lactation Consultation (link to: ) typically lasts 2-3 hours.

I wholeheartedly support families in their choice of how best to feed their babies! In addition to breastfeeding support, I am well-trained in counseling on formula types, different bottles, bottle feeding techniques, and how to combo-feed.  My goal is that you feel supported and confident in feeding your baby!

You can reschedule online up to 24 hours in advance. If you need to reschedule within 24 hours of our visit, please contact me directly and I will do my best to work with your needs.

A gift certificate (link) for lactation support or prenatal class makes for a wonderful gift for new and expecting parents!
